Rango is a CG animated, western directed by Gore Verbinski. With the voice talents of Johnny Depp, as Rango the Lizard, Isla Fisher as Beans the desert iguana, Alfred Molina as Roadkill the armadillo, Bill Nighy as Rattlesnake Jake, and Abigail Breslin as Pricilla the cactus mouse. Just to name a few.

The beginning of the movie starts with the yet-to-be-named lizard (Johnny Depp), ranting about the lack of thespian ability the inanimate objects in his tank have. Crammed in the back of a station wagon, amongst his human owners belongings, when the car takes a severe swerve and the tank falls out of the hatchback and smashes on the highway- in the middle of the Mojave Desert. A chorus of an Owl mariachi band narrates the tragedy to the yet-to-be-named lizard.

Unaccustomed to the arid landscape, yet-to-be-named lizard, starts to panic. When he comes across a run over armadillo (Alfred Molina) who tells him that to find himself he must keep following his shadow. This leads him to a desert iguana named Beans (Isla Fisher) who has the unique defence mechanism of freezing like a statue when stressed.

When Beans questions yet-to-be-named lizard what he's doing in the middle of the desert, he creates an alter ego named Rango, a brash-talking- bow-legged-walking law man. She takes him to her town of Dirt. A place stuck in the wild west of yore.

When the towns bank runs low on the towns currency, water, Rango is forced by the creatures of Dirt to find the problem.

Will Rango save the town? Will the bad guys thwart his plans? And can Rango really become the good guy he's pretending to be?

Here's what Ro-Roe thought....

Take a peek at the trailer, what you think?...
